Panel 6, Hiccup and Astrid are out during Winter adventuring when a hostile dragon shows up. Stormfly has already taken Astrid away, but Hiccup is cornered by the dragon. Toothless comes and gets the dragon away and gets in front of Hiccup to protect him.
Panel 7: It shows the hostile dragon battling Toothless, imagine the fight however you want.
Panel 8: Hiccup is nervous because Toothless is more trained towards defending Hiccup instead of himself. He's ready to go up and help him when Astrid managed to get around to him and stop him from getting in the way of a large fight between the two.
Panel 9: Toothless lost and was badly injured and the other dragon left him to die. Hiccup comes out of hiding and tries to stop the blood flow along with Astrid, but Toothless passes out half-way through and the three think that he died. Hiccup quickly began to hold him and cry into his neck, only for Toothless to wake back up and start licking him.
Panel 10: A few years later, with Hiccup older and with a goatee, riding on a fully healed Toothless. The hostile dragon that attacked him years ago was now friendly and lived in the village with a family and helps them get food (but the two dragons act hostile towards one another).
All of them, they're all just too awesome for me to pick.
